Naughty Dog has rolled out an important update for both The Last of Us Part 1 and The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered, adding support for the PlayStation 5 Pro. A remake of the 2013 original, The Last of Us Part 1 was released in 2022 and features improved graphics, better performance, and updated gameplay for the PS5. The game still centers on Joel and Ellie as they journey through a post-apocalyptic world, highlighting themes of survival and human relationships. Similarly, The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered brought the 2020 sequel to the PS5, offering enhanced visuals and new content like the "No Return" roguelike mode, along with extras such as the Guitar Free Play mode. Both games are now receiving some important and helpful updates.
