Ubisoft Milan Is Reportedly Developing A Rayman Remake

Ubisoft Milan is reportedly developing a Rayman remake with the help of some members from the recently disbanded Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown team.

Yesterday, it was reported (and later confirmed by Ubisoft itself) that the team behind one of 2024's best games, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, had been disbanded due to the game's commercial failure. Considering how great The Lost Crown was and how much potential the pitched sequel had based on concept alone, it was pretty dire news and yet another bad moment for Ubisoft in a year full of them.

While the Prince of Persia community is likely still reeling from that announcement, there is a little bit of a silver lining. Ubisoft confirmed in a statement that the team behind The Lost Crown hadn't been let go and had instead been moved onto other projects, including one that's sure to excite a very starving fanbase.
