Capcom has announced that you'll get a chance to try out Monster Hunter Wilds via an open beta that's being held at the start of November, and if you're a PlayStation Plus member, your chance will come even earlier.
During today's Monster Hunter Wilds showcase, we got to see some of the monsters and geographical features of the Oilwell Basin ecosystem, including a brand new and terrifying-looking monster known as the Black Flame.
Other monsters we got a glimpse of include the bulbous Rompopolo, which often finds itself embroiled in territorial struggles with the fanged and thick-shelled Ajarakan. You'll be able to encounter both of these monsters in the Oilwell Basin.
The aforementioned Monster Hunter Wilds open beta will begin on November 1st at 3am GMT (so that's around 10pm the previous night if you're on Eastern time) and run until November 4th at roughly 2am GMT (again, that's about 9pm Eastern the previous day).
It'll be available across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, but if you're subscribed to PlayStation Plus, you can enjoy an early access test period, which runs from October 29th at 3am GMT until October 31st...
