The countdown to Monster Hunter Wilds continues with only a little more than four months to go until we embark on our biggest monster hunting adventure yet. Well, actually, you don't need to wait quite that long to take Wilds for a spin. Capcom has just announced an open beta for its next Monster Hunter game and if you're a PlayStation Plus subscriber, you'll be able to take part from October 28.
Capcom revealed it will be holding an open beta for Wilds during a showcase for the game today, confirming that the test will be split into two sections. The first section, which will begin at 11pm EST on October 28, will only be open to PlayStation Plus subscribers. That's presumably for all PS Plus subscribers, regardless of tier, as Capcom hasn't specified needing Extra or Premium to be a part of the beta.
Pre-orders are open for all three editions of Monster Hunter Wilds.
