Persona 5: The Phantom X is a fairly enticing prospect for fans of the modern Persona games. It has a bunch of interesting characters, and it looks just as stylish and well-made as the proper Persona games, but one of the least enticing things about it is that it's a mobile game. There's also the part where people outside specific countries can't play it, but we know that'll change eventually.
Thankfully, it looks as though Persona 5: The Phantom X's long stint on mobile may be coming to an end fairly soon, if a new discovery on SteamDB is anything to go by, at least. First spotted by Twitter user Slimseo (thanks GamesRadar) it appears as though a new page titled "Persona 5: The Phantom X Playtest" is now live on SteamDB, meaning developer Black Wings Game Studio is likely prepping it for a Steam release.
At the time of writing, the last update made to this page was 14 hours ago, after a branch titled "pwtest" was either added or updated. If we look at the game's charts, we can see that this specific page was created on October 16, and that the playtest itself has been accessed...
