Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP New Content and New Costumes in the Works

Originally released in 2012 for the PS3 and Xbox 360, Lollipop Chainsaw has seen a second life thanks to Dragami Games, which recently released Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP on current-gen consoles and PCs. If a revival of the franchise wasn't enough, the studio looks to be developing a significant chunk of content for the action game.

The news was revealed by Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP game designer Yoshimi Yasuda, who announced on Twitter/X that they are aiming to develop new "big" content for the game and new costumes.

Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP Is Getting More Content in the Future

For those wondering, the original Lollipop Chainsaw did drop a DLC, but it was just for new costumes for protagonist Juliet based on five characters from four anime shows. There was also a special Valentine's Edition of the game that was released in Japan, and it housed additional content in the form of two bonus DVDs, a desktop clock, wallpapers, trailers, a Valentine's Day comic, and even a "perfect unlock code."
