You can play Stardew Valley's Multiplayer right now. The Opt-In public beta for the big co-op update is now online for testing.

The co-op update allows up to four players to play on the same farm, engage in relationships with the town's denizens, or each other - yes, that means you can marry and divorce your friends in Stardew Valley's multiplayer.

Along with the multiplayer testing, Chucklefish has added a bunch of new single player content as well. Horses can wear hats, which is always a good thing, and there's now a winter market festival that comes with special items. There are also a bunch of new cut scenes being added to all of the game's seasons.

Below are directions to get into the beta, provided by Chucklefish:

Log into your Steam account
In your Games Library, right click on Stardew Valley
Select Properties → Betas
Enter the Beta access code “jumpingjunimos” and press Check Code
After this, select the beta branch option on the Beta selection drop down list above
