Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 comes out tomorrow, which means your drive is going to get a lot cozier.

The running gag about Activision being secretly controlled by companies that want to sell more disk space still holds true for Black Ops 6.

Early rumors hinted that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 was going to clock in over 300 GB, but thankfully the story ended up being a tall tale: you can have a 300 GB install size, but only if you have all games included in Call of Duty HQ installed in full.

Playing the game requires the controversial Activision Call of Duty HQ launcher, which acts as a hub for all games in the franchise.

Call of Duty HQ takes up approximately 73.63 GB, which is bad but represents a major improvement from its earlier version, which clocked in at 174.95 GB on the PlayStation 5.

The launcher is not all bad news, as it makes the game modular, therefore allowing players to pick and choose which parts of it they wish to keep when cleaning up their console storage.
