More than eight years later, No Man's Sky has retained a bustling player count, with tens of thousands exploring the universe every day.
While every player has their own reasons for jumping in, the crafting scene in No Man's Sky has evolved drastically over the last few years with amazing base builds, island-sized greenhouses, working racetracks, and even Cyberpunk-esque cities cropping up recently.
It'll be the first and last time they try that.
The latest build, shared on Reddit, may just be the best of all, with a group of players teaming up to build a huge underground city that gives off strong "Underdark vibes."
The 'village' shared by Reddit user Tbags005 was built in collaboration with Shinbajo and Nerozii and clocks in at around 8,000 pieces.
In a seven-minute video, Tbags walks around the entirety of the village, showing off boujee tents, clifftop buildings, and a bustling downtown area. The vibe is punctuated by a range of glowing plants and mushrooms, and it doesn't look and feel too dissimilar to the Myconid Village in Baldur's Gate 3, except maybe a little more advanced.
