Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has only been out for a few days now, but the latest title in Activision's mega-franchise is already seemingly breaking records.

According to a new report, the game drove the "Biggest ever UK gaming traffic" for one of Britain's largest broadband providers.

According to ISPreview, Black Ops 6 caused a huge surge in live internet usage on UK provider EE/BT, breaking its previous record for gaming traffic.

ISPreview suggests that the largest spike in traffic came on Monday, October 21, the day the game became available for preload, with traffic driven so high due to its more-than-100 GB file size.

The website attributes part of the 144% week-on-week increase to the fact that this is the first year that the title will be available on Xbox Game Pass, something Microsoft will be very happy to hear.
