It's impressive then that despite having such baggage, Dragon Age is still a huge event. We've seen fans eagerly counting down the days till Halloween for months now, with pre-orders stacking up, and not because they're excited to go trick or treating. The Veilguard is finally upon us, and the community is nipping at Morrigan's heels to get stuck in.
To wet their appetite, reviews have gone live just a few days out from launch. And thankfully, it looks like that decade of waiting has paid off, because the reaction is pretty positive! Right now, The Veilguard has an aggregate OpenCritic score of 84, with reviewers praising its spectacle of a story and strong cast.
