Call Of Duty just experienced one of the biggest weekends in its history. Not numbers-wise - although it appears to have performed pretty well on that front - but because Black Ops 6 is the first game in the series to launch day one on Game Pass. It also marks the return to Call Of Duty's traditional prestige system, and Activision has brought a long-forgotten sound effect back along with it.
Classic Prestige was ditched for the Modern Warfare reboot in 2019 and five years later, it's back. For newer CoD players unfamiliar with the system, once you reach level 55, you are presented with the option to prestige which resets your level to one, or keep everything you have unlocked and remain at level 55.
