Killer7 is being review-bombed on Steam due to the introduction of AI upscaling to the game’s cutscenes. Despite being a port of a beloved title from the 2000s, the Steam version of Killer7 has recently become much worse according to the fan base.
Killer7 was originally developed by Grasshopper Manufacture in 2005 for PlayStation 2 and GameCube. Widely praised as one of the best games made by Goichi Suda, the legendary developer also known as Suda51, Killer7 is a unique action-adventure title that quickly became a cult hit. In 2018, the game was released for PC via Steam and immediately garnered Very Positive reviews, with 90% of all gamers liking it on the platform until a recent blunder.
Suda51 is known for taking bold risks with his games, but this has also made some of them brutally difficult to complete.
