Someone Spent More Than $2,000 Stacking PS Plus To Avoid Future Price Hikes

Odds are many of you reading this are subscribed to at least one video game subscription service. Even more likely is the cost of those services will eventually be increased, probably pretty soon based on recent history. One PS Plus subscriber has ensured they won't need to worry about that for a while by stacking their subscription for so long that they're locked into the service's highest tier until 2048.

The subscriber, who goes by On_Reddit_In_Class on Reddit, shared that they had splashed out on a long-term PS Plus subscription via the PlayStation Plus subreddit. In the original post, they note that they decided to stack their subscription to avoid any future price hikes - it's been over a year since PlayStation last increased the price of PS Plus meaning there could be another price hike on the horizon.
