Pokemon TCG Pocket Players Are Struggling To Play Due To Crashes

The Pokemon Trading Card Game is big business, so it was no surprise that, back in February, The Pokemon Company announced Pokemon TCG Pocket, a mobile version of the hit trading card game.

Pokemon TCG Pocket already has a way to win on turn one, and it probably always will.

The title went live across the world this morning, with players ready to rip some packs. Unfortunately, however, things aren't as simple as that, and there have been dozens of reports of players unable to jump into the game due to major crashing issues.

Shortly after Pokemon TCG Pocket went live, the game's unofficial Subreddit was flooded with posts from would-be players hoping to access the game. These players, across numerous threads, reported that the game won't even get past the first screen due to crashes.

While the majority of the crashes have been reported on iPhone, with players on iOS versions 18.0, 18.1, and 17.6.1 all sharing they've had issues, players with Android phones have also claimed to be hit by crashes. These reports have come from players with the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+, Xiaomi Note 8 Pro, and Xiaomi 11t Pro.
