Have you heard of The Day Before? It's this strange survival-action game that had to prove that it was real given the oddities behind its development by the studio, Fntastic. While The Day Before did see a commercial release, it was pulled from digital storefronts just days later, with the developers announcing their closure just four days after the game launched, citing poor sales as the cause.
Here we are, less than a year after that debacle, and Fntastic is back with another "game" titled Escape Factory, which had its Kickstarter campaign launch last month that understandably failed to generate any backers.
The Day Before Studio Asks Players for Help in Creating Maps
After the studio's failed Kickstarter campaign, they have now pivoted to yet another new project titled "Items." This time around, they are asking people to help craft maps for the allegedly in-development game, which the studio announced in their Discord channel. Fntastic mentions, "This contest is a chance for you to unleash your creativity by designing a map card that, if it wins, will be added to the game in future updates!"
