For some bizarre reason, flashbanging your teammates in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 seems to give you XP.
That's according to YouTuber Expel, who posted a clip on Twitter of them throwing several flashbangs down a corridor, raking in XP, right before a perfectly-timed 'DEFEAT' card slammed onto the screen.
"Do with this information what you will," they captioned the tweet. It's probably (hopefully) not intentional, but for now, you might wanna keep an eye out for griefers taking advantage of this 'tactic'.
Commenters claim that it doesn't end with flashbangs, either. One reply says that "Throwing smokes and getting killed in your own smoke also gives you XP" (or if your teammates get killed), and another alleges that they got a headshot medal from friendly fire. One commenter even believes that friendly fire contributed to their camo grind. Let's not test that.
Griefing might give you a small boost of XP, but you probably won't win many matches self-sabotaging.
