Final Fantasy 14's first major patch post-Dawntrail is finally releasing this month, as it was confirmed during the most recent Live Letter that players will be able to dive into some much-needed new content on November 12. On top of that, a release schedule was shared with fans detailing exactly when new raids and quests will drop, all the way up to January.
While you'd have thought this would be an exciting time for Final Fantasy 14 players, and there are quite a few people looking forward to the first portion of the Echoes of Vana'diel Alliance Raid, as well as the absolute mess that is going to be the game's first Chaotic Alliance Raid. Unfortunately, there's also a lot of discourse out there at the moment too, as a lot of players are upset about exactly when this content is dropping.
One of the biggest complaints about Patch 7.1's release schedule is the timing of both the Futures Rewritten Ultimate and the Chaotic Alliance Raid.
