After an entire decade of waiting, Dragon Age: The Veilguard is finally here. The next title in Bioware's iconic Dragon Age series became a smash-hit among critics, with our own Stacey Henley writing in their review that it's a "much needed return to form for BioWare," due to "traditions of excellent character writing" and "strong world building through narrative quests."
But just as quickly as The Veilguard has arrived, don't expect long-term support for it. That's because Bioware does not have any plans for post-launch DLC, confirming previous reports. Instead, the EA-owned studio will be shifting its focus to Mass Effect 5, the long-awaited return to its popular sci-fi franchise.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, creative director John Epler discussed a number of topics related to Dragon Age, Bioware and the future. Via that interview, Rolling Stone reported the following:
BioWare confirms that there are currently no plans for downloadable expansions. The developers’ full attention has now shifted entirely to the next Mass Effect as their current project.
