Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has got off to an exceptional start. It launched to an 84 on OpenCritic, scoring a 4/5 from TheGamer, quickly beat Modern Warfare 3's Steam player numbers, and was declared the "Biggest Call of Duty release ever" by Activision's new owner Microsoft.
It's the little things that make games so much fun.
But, while the game is breaking all kinds of records, it's not without its fair share of problems, the latest of which seems to have cropped up after a recent update.
Over the past 24 hours, dozens of reports have cropped up on the Black Ops 6 subreddit, with people complaining that, despite equipping them, their optics are disappearing from their guns.
The issue generally seems to occur after visiting the Gunsmith and equipping a new optic to a weapon. Upon exiting the Gunsmith, the optic will disappear, leaving the weapon with its default sight.
Seemingly, the only way to fix the issue is through brute force, equipping your optic over and over until it finally stays on the gun. However, one player reported that "going to the Microsoft store, checking for updates, and updating Xbox gaming services" resolved the issue...
