Nintendo is sticking to its guns and holding off on the reveal of the Switch 2 in the current fiscal year, even with sales of the original Switch slowing down.
While there have been many Switch 2 leaks and rumors, the only confirmed information is that Nintendo will announce the system in the current fiscal year, which ends in March 2025.
Nintendo’s latest earnings report has been released, and it includes an update about the Switch 2, but it’s one fans won’t want to hear. According to Reuters, Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa confirmed that the Switch 2 is still on track for a fiscal year reveal, which concludes on March 31, 2025.
This is despite the fact that the Switch’s sales have gradually fallen, with Nintendo revising its forecast downward for the system.
