Sega has officially confirmed that it's developing a brand-new Virtua Fighter game, 17 whole years after the original release of Virtua Fighter 5 in 2007.
Although Sega is mostly known these days for Sonic the Hedgehog, Like a Dragon, and Persona (two of which they publish instead of develop), they've got an absolutely humongous back catalogue of games. Jet Set Radio, Crazy Taxi, Golden Axe, and even bloody Ristar, are just a few of the classics that we've seen barely anything of over the past few decades.

While Sega seems to have been happy just focusing on its big three for most of the current generation, it recently confirmed that it's got plans to bring back all of the above and more for reboots and remakes.
