Once Human has been one of 2024's big successes. The free-to-play survival game from NetEase had the seventh-biggest launch of any game on Steam this year and continues to attract an impressive player count.

With the Steam version of the game out and receiving regular updates, developers Starry Studios' full focus is on the game's mobile port. However, in an exclusive rearranged Tokyo Game Show interview with TheGamer, the team has confirmed that it will be making a console port "the next most important priority" of Once Human.
If you search Google for Once Human console port information, you're inundated with articles telling you there isn't one. That's going to change in the future.
After we have completed the development and release of the mobile version, the next most important milestone will be our console version.
Speaking to TheGamer, Once Human's chief designer Woody tells me, "The development of a console version is part of our plans."
