During an earnings call on November 6th, Take-Two Interactive announced that sales for GTA 5 have surpassed 205 million copies. This represents an increase of five million copies in the last year alone, an extraordinary number considering the game's age. The recent hype around GTA 6's reveal trailer is also likely to be a contributing factor, as is the fact that the game has survived through multiple console generations, likely leading to repeat purchases from players who upgrade their consoles.
