Yesterday, Activision revealed its plans for the first season of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. The roadmap was stacked with content, including new multiplayer maps and zombie maps, new weapons, and new game modes.
There's a lot of good and bad in this patch.
While additional content for Call of Duty games has historically been pretty poorly received by players, things are different this time around, with them exclaiming, "This is the best Season 1 roadmap ever."
Black Ops 6, Season 1, comes with a lot of new content. There are a total of six new maps, two new modes, seven weapons, two perks, a scorestreak, and a wildcard being added to the game. And that's just the multiplayer offering.
Zombies will also come with a bunch of new content, including a massive new map, Citadelle Des Morts.
Comparatively, Modern Warfare 3, Season 1, came with four maps, three 6v6 and one 2v2, and some limited-time modes. There was almost as much new content as Black Ops 6 Season 1, at least on paper. It just wasn't half as exciting.
