It has been announced that one of EA's biggest releases this year, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, will not be available early through EA Access.

On Twitter, EA announced that Fallen Order will not gain early access through EA Access. EA stated "We've opted not to have early / timed access (Play First Trial), in part to reduce the risk of spoilers." Instead, EA Access members will receive two exclusive cosmetics, one for Cal Kestis' droid, BD-1, and one for his ship the Stinger Mantis. Members will also receive 10% off of Fallen Order.

EA Access is available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The service costs $4.99 a month, or $29.99 a year. Through EA Access, gamers are given 10% discounts on any digital purchases made on the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, including DLC and Season Passes. They are also given access to a library of games. Players are also given early access to new games. Most newer titles gain early access through the service, with Fallen Order being one of the few exceptions.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will have a number of pre-order bonuses for those who reserve their copy early. All pre-orders come with an orange blade for Cal's lightsaber, as well as two hilts for the weapon. Players will also receive a skin for BD-1. Those who order on the PlayStation Store will receive a theme for their PlayStation 4. Along with these items, those who order from GameStop will receive a $15 Fandango promo code, coinciding with the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. My Best Buy members will get a $10 reward credit for pre-purchasing the game at Best Buy.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will release this Friday, November 15th. Fallen Order will be available on PC via EA's Origin Access Premier, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game will also be released on Steam, making it the first EA title to be released on the platform in years.
