Baldur's Gate 3 is already a stunning game but Larian Studios is making it even prettier with an update specifically for the PlayStation 5 Pro. With the launch of Sony's updated console, players should expect a brief influx of patches designed to enhance PS5 games by allowing them to take full advantage of the Pro's beefier specs. Baldur's Gate 3 is right on time with its announcement as the PS5 Pro is now available to purchase so consumers can use the massive RPG to test their new device.
Unveiled in a post on the official Baldur's Gate 3 blog, Larian Studios confirmed that the game has been updated for the PS5 Pro to provide players with new graphical enhancements. Some of the improvements include Quality Mode now running at a native 4K at 30fps, and Performance Mode upscaling from 1440p to 2160p at 60fps thanks to the power of PSSR. Multiplayer should also be much smoother as split screen on PS5 Pro can now offer 30fps or 60fps depending on whether users have their game set to Quality or Performance Mode.
