No One Is Playing As A Dwarf In Dragon Age: The Veilguard

Dragon Age: The Veilguard lets you choose from three classes, four races and six factions to make up your Rook's background. However, as is inevitable, some are proving to be much, much more popular than others.

According to player stats released by BioWare, those preferences are already emerging. Here, we can see that most Dragon Age: The Veilguard players made their Rook a human, with elf in close second. Qunari and dwarf are miles behind in comparison, with just six percent of Rooks being dwarven.

Going through all the categories, the most popular choices when making a Rook are mage, human, and Grey Warden or Shadow Dragon. This is making my darling mage human Grey Warden, Beatrice Throne, look rather boring. In my defence, I really missed Dragon Age: Origins.

Elves aren't too far behind, with 40 percent of players opting to play as them, as opposed to 43 percent playing as humans. This isn't too surprising, since elves play a major part in the overall story, given that it's their gods who are attacking Thedas.
