As soon as Dragon Age: The Veilguard was re-revealed to the world, fans were divided on its visuals. Character and monster designs were noticeably more stylised than they were in previous titles, and the overall aesthetic was much brighter - both in terms of tone and colour palette.
Now that the game is in our hands, there are certainly darker areas of Thedas, but one thing that's unavoidable is all of the purple everywhere. Many areas seem to have a purple filter put over them, making them incredibly vibrant and adding to the brighter feel of Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
