As we hit the half-way point of November, Niantic has announced a number of Pokemon GO events that will round out the rest of the month.
The first event that Pokemon GO will hold is Supereffective Week. This event will start on November 19th at 1 pm PST, and will run until November 26th at 1 pm PST. During this event, players will run into more Bug and Fairy type Pokemon, which can be strong partners against the Team GO Rocket members plaguing the game at the moment. Gamers will also have the chance to run into shiny Tentacools. They can earn double the Stardust from Trainer battles, more Potions and Revives at PokeStops, and are guaranteed to received the Charged TM from three-star raids.
During the second event, the Rock- and Fighting-type Legendary Pokemon Terrakion will appear in five-star raids. Terrakion will begin appearing in the raids on November 26th at 1 pm PST, and will stick around until December 17th at 1 pm PST. For those who do not know, Terrakion will be weak against Water-, Grass-, Fighting, Ground-, Psychic-, Steel-, and Fairy-type Pokemon.
Finally, Pokemon GO will be holding the Friend Fest during Thanksgiving weekend. The event will begin on November 27th at 1 pm PST, and will end on December 2nd at 1 pm PST. Players will be able to run into "family-themed" Pokemon, such as the Nidorans and their evolutions. Trade Stardust costs will be cut in half. Players will be able to make two special trades per day, and they will gain attack boosts when raiding with their friends.
These three events come hot off another Pokemon GO event. Last week, an event allowed trainers the opportunity to find and challenge Team GO Rocket leader himself, Giovanni. There will likely be more events to close out the year, especially with the holidays coming up.
