Finally, Xbox is teasing a Game Pass release for the Spyro Reignited Trilogy. While we don't know when it will drop on the service, a tweet on the official Game Pass account suggests that it's coming very soon.
This comes more than a year after Xbox completed its acquisition of Activision Blizzard, alongside all of the IPs under the company's wings. This includes both Spyro the Dragon and Crash Bandicoot, although the purple dragon has remained noticeably absent from the Game Pass library.
The tweet from the Game Pass account is unmistakably teasing that Spyro is coming to the service, so we just have to wait for it to drop now. There's no indication of when it will be released on Game Pass, but with any luck, we won't be left waiting much longer.
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy came to Game Pass in August of this year, making Spyro's absence even more bizarre. At least that's going to be rectified soon, bringing one of the best platformers in the business to a wider audience.
