Valve has announced that a limited edition White Steam Deck OLED is coming to the market. However, it’s a single-run item, which means everyone will have to be quick on the draw if they want to own one.
Unlike the seemingly never-ending wait for the Nintendo Switch 2, Valve has been candid about not fully revising the Steam Deck. There are iterations of existing hardware, like the regular Steam Deck OLED, but no successors.
In a surprise move, Valve announced that a new kind of Steam Deck is on the way. The White Steam Deck OLED has a white case, comes with 1TB of SSD storage, and will retail for $679/£599.
The White Steam Deck OLED can be purchased on the hardware’s official website from November 18, 2024, at 3:00 pm PST. It will be available worldwide.
