Don't panic, it's not Black Friday yet, nor has Nintendo cut the price of some of its most popular Switch games more than two weeks ahead of time. It has merely revealed which of its games, along with some of its hardware, will be discounted for the biggest sale event of the year, and there are some big titles among those that will be available for less at various retailers.
Nintendo has been notoriously stingy when it comes to selling its biggest games for less during the Switch era because, simply put, it doesn't need to. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has been consistently among the top ten best-selling games for its entire seven-year run, and it's one of 21 Switch titles to have surpassed ten million copies sold. However, between the Switch era nearing its end and Black Friday, Nintendo appears more willing to let go of some of its bigger games for less this holiday season.
