Stellar Blade has arguably been one of PlayStation's best games this year, despite not actually owning developer Shift Up. Stellar Blade, alongside Black Myth: Wukong, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, and Helldivers 2, has helped the platform along while first-party releases have been scarce, but Stellar Blade is in the unique position in that it didn't launch on PC, having been locked down as a PS5 exclusive.
Stellar Blade developer Shift Up has explained in the past that it was "considering" a PC port for the game at some point in the future, but it has now revealed that the title is set to break free from its PS5 chains at some point next year. This was confirmed in the Q&A portion of Shift Up's latest earnings report (thanks Gematsu), as the company claimed that it is currently aiming to release the PC version of Stellar Blade in 2025.
