Incredible BioShock Big Daddy Cosplay Took Two Years To Complete

A homemade Big Daddy costume from BioShock has fans thrilled and terrified at the same time. The 2007 atmospheric shooter had some incredibly memorable locations and enemy designs, and the Big Daddy was one of them. Big Daddies are massive bad guys that resembled old metallic diving suits with a drill in place of one hand. Catching sight of a Big Daddy, or the Little Sister who usually accompanied them, was enough to strike fear into even the most courageous player.

StalwartStud on Reddit has captured the essence of the Big Daddy perfectly, recreating the iconic BioShock monster in a strikingly detailed costume. The costume stands at over seven feet tall and has glowing orbs on the face and an impressive level of detail.

StalwartStud worked on the costume on and off for about two years. The Big Daddy is strikingly life-like, resembling a great hulking beast of metal. According to its creator, though, the entire chassis doesn't actually weigh too much because it's made of foam (although it's apparently uncomfortable to walk in thanks to the length of the arms).
