Fan Developing "Astro Bot X Nintendo World" in Unity3D and There's Already Gameplay Available

While Team Asobi's Astro Bot has quite a few character cameos from other games, it's limited to games that appeared on PlayStation platforms, which is perfectly understandable. Well, one fan has decided to create their own Astro Bot game, and this one sees Sony's character in unfamiliar territory: Nintendo's world.

Self-proclaimed developerand hacker HotzTendo has posted gameplay footage and details of their project, Astro Bot X Nintendo World, which sees Astro Bot crossover with Nintendo.

HotzTendo has posted multiple video clips of the project being built on Unity3D. Check out what they plan to be the opening stage, and even a boss fight.

The next clip features a dinosaur battle, with a familiar star appearing at the end and even Mario's voice. I'm not 100% sure, but the dinosaur might be Bowser.

As you can see from the tweets, the developer originally envisioned this as a side project, but after seeing interest, decided to pour more time into it.
