The Xbox brand’s new ad campaign has made the surprising choice to focus on cloud streaming across multiple devices, rather than focusing on the Xbox Series X/S consoles.

Xbox Cloud Gaming is a service exclusive to Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. It allows users to stream select Xbox titles using a compatible controller, a fast Internet connection, and a device with a web browser.

While the Xbox Series X/S is set to receive at least one big exclusive in the holiday season (mainly Indiana Jones and the Great Circle), Microsoft is focusing on cloud streaming for its new ad campaign.

The “This Is An Xbox” campaign demonstrates the multiple devices that can play Xbox games, including mobile devices, smart TVs, and even the Steam Deck.

The ads are part of a larger campaign that will be shown in cities across the world, demonstrating everything that can be an Xbox.
