Helldivers 2 players have been toiling for months, completing one major order after another to ensure that the Democracy Space Station gets built and becomes fully operational. Super Earth's version of the Death Star has finally gone online and leverages the power of democracy (and artillery) to help with on-ground operations.

However, players were disappointed to learn that much like the Death Star, it's a bad idea to be on the planet it's being used upon. Helldivers can vote to decide which planet the weapon will be fired upon and donate samples to keep it running, but it looks like the player base is massively disappointed with the final result.
The now operational DSS offers players three options in terms of orbital support. Planetary Bombardment drops artillery on bugs and bots throughout the mission, Eagle Storm offers the same in the form of air strikes, and Orbital Blockade targets enemy ships trying to leave orbit. However, players soon found out that these tactical actions don't differentiate between friend and foe.
