Bad news for Disgaea 5 Complete fans looking forward to next week's release: The game has been delayed after it was discovered the demo accidentally contained the full game. The best developers can offer now is that the game will be out in "summer 2018", nothing more specific.
After the release of the JRPG's demo, players noticed they could move past Chapter 3, what was supposed to be the conclusion of the available content. Turns out, not only was the entire game available, but so was all of the forthcoming DLC just by editing a few files.
After word began to spread, Nippon Ichi pulled the demo from Steam and removed access from anyone who had downloaded it. The "official reason" for the delay is that "the team "came across a new issue that requires additional attention that will take more time to resolve".
