Players have already noticed that classic maps exist in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 game files. Now, Treyarch Associate Creative Director Miles Leslie spoke about how the team is open to bringing any and all classic maps to the game.
Recently, an eagle-eyed fan noticed that Firing Range and Hazard, two maps from past Call of Duty games, can be found on the Stakeout map. They were discovered out of bounds in the game's theater mode. We wondered if this hinted at their inclusion in a future update. It turns out that Treyarch is thinking about bringing back old maps from past games.
In an interview with Dexerto, Leslie said the team is open to bringing beloved maps from previous Black Ops games.
They already remastered the Hacienda map from Black Ops 4 in the Season 1 Reloaded update, and it looks like more remasters are certainly on the horizon, along with developing new maps.
