Path Of Exile 2 Players Are Giving Up On The Game After Huge Round Of Nerfs

Balancing updates were inevitable in Path of Exile 2. The game is only in early access, after all.

A lot of people were trying to get into Path of Exile 2.

But the latest update, v0.1.0D, has nerfed certain moves, and therefore certain classes, to such an extent that players have said that they're deleting characters or even ditching the game as a whole as a result of it.

Path of Exile 2's latest update has destroyed certain builds, many of which are Sorc or Deadeye-focused. While certain nerfs were accepted by the community, changes to the Trigger Gem system have left some builds "unusable".

Effectively, the system has been changed in such a way that the probability of triggering some of the game's most useful automatic effects and attacks is now much, much lower, making builds that rely on them fundamentally useless.

This has caused uproar in the Path of Exile 2 community, with dozens of threads popping up on the game's subreddit and many players claiming the developers are not respecting their time.

Minute_Age3029 declared that they're taking a break after this latest round of nerfs because they're "Worried that investing any more time...
