Naughty Dog's New Game Spammed With Dislikes Over Branding And Being "Woke"

The reveal trailer for Naughty Dog's next game, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, already has a lot more dislikes on YouTube than likes, with complaints aimed at the branding and, unsurprisingly, the protagonist.

Last night's The Game Awards was, as promised by several insiders, a huge event with some very surprising reveals. From an Okami sequel and The Witcher 4 to a co-op Elden Ring spin-off and a whole lot more, there was something for everyone at the event. Undoubtedly the biggest reveal of the show was when Naughty Dog finally unveiled its next project, which has been in the works since 2020.

Saber Interactive is bringing the prehistoric shooter back from extinction, and it’s not what we expected.

Despite rumours suggesting that it would be a fantasy project, that game turned out to be Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, a sci-fi title starring Tati Gabrielle as protagonist Jordan A. Mun as she tries to escape from the dangerous planet called Sempiria. Despite being a hugely-anticipated reveal, it has perhaps unsurprisingly not going down well with some gamers.
