We have known that the Dragon Ball Super version Broly would be coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ for quite some time. Now, we finally have a release date for the upcoming fighter.

According to the latest issue of Weekly Jump (via Siliconera), Broly will release for Dragon Ball FighterZ on December 5th. He will be a part of the game's current Season Pass, or purchasable on his own for $4.99. He will be the second version of the character of the character. This is similar similar to Goku and Vegeta, who have several versions as well. He will be a big presence on the field like his predecessor, though he will have his differences.

The new version of Broly comes from the animated film Dragon Ball Super: Broly. The film sees Broly being exiled from Planet Vegeta as an infant, landing on an extremely hostile planet where he grows up fighting to survive. He finds his way to Earth, where he has to battle Goku and Vegeta, the only other surviving pure-blooded Saiyans, releasing the anger and hatred within.

We have gotten a peak at what Broly can do in Dragon Ball FighterZ from a brief teaser that was released earlier this month. However, more in-depth gameplay footage of Broly in action was leaked, though the videos were taken down quickly. Developer Arc System Works may release another video of the character before or during Broly's release, truly showing us how much damage the exiled Saiyan can do.

Dragon Ball FighterZ was released for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on January 26th, 2018. The game then came to the Nintendo Switch in September of that same year. The Dragon Ball Super form of Broly marks the end of the fighter's second Season Pass, which also included Videl, Jiren, Kid Goku (GT), Janemba, and Gogeta. It is unknown if Arc System Works is planning a third Season Pass.

I have been playing video games for as long as I can remember. I am a huge fan of JRPGs, though I also enjoy fighters. I have been writing about video games for a few years now. If it has a great story, I am sure that I will dig it.
