Silent Hill 2 Fans Really Aren't Happy About The Game Awards Loss

Silent Hill 2 fans really aren't happy about how the remake was received during The Game Awards, with it losing all five of the categories that it was nominated for.

Considering how nearly all of us initially reacted to the news that Bloober Team was going to be remaking Silent Hill 2 when it was announced more than two years ago, it's funny how the tables have turned. Not only did Bloober actually manage to stay true to the 2001 horror cult classic, but it also expanded and improved upon it in numerous ways.

I like some of Bloober's old games, but none suggested it could make Silent Hill 2.

Silent Hill 2's remake did so well, in fact, that it actually ended up being nominated for several categories at The Game Awards, which fans agreed it was deserving of and seemed likely to win in a few key areas. As we now know, though, that wasn't the case at all, and it actually walked away having won zero awards.
