We've already seen how players have shown their love for both games in the beta for Monster Hunter Wilds. A large number of players built their hunters to look like Final Fantasy 14 director Naoki "Yoshi-P" Yoshida. Now, other developers from the Final Fantasy 14 team have been talking about how they can't wait for a crossover.
In a conversation with GamesRadar+ lead battle content designer Masaki Nakagawa said that the team absolutely loves the Monster Hunter series and can't wait to figure out a collaboration for the upcoming installment of the series.
