Astro Bot was deservedly named 2024's Game of the Year at The Game Awards last week, a decision that appears to have rubbed quite a few Black Myth: Wukong fans, and some of its developers, the wrong way. If you're one of the people who isn't happy about Astro Bot beating Wukong to one of the most notable Game of the Year awards then you might want to look away now as it just picked up another.
PlayStation has published its own Game of the Year award winners, running through several categories, some of which are similar to the ones at the TGAs with a few unique ones sprinkled in such as the award for Best Use of the DualSense. PlayStation's GOTY category is Best PS5 Game, and this year, perhaps unsurprisingly, that award has gone to Astro Bot.
Compared to the competion, this impressive action game didn't stand a chance.
