Like A Dragon has gotten so popular that it's pretty essential for the games to have English dubs these days. While many of the old guard will still play in Japanese (myself included), having a game in a foreign language with subtitles can be a barrier to many. That's why pretty much every game since Yakuza: Like A Dragon has had an English dub, and the upcoming Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is no exception.
Earlier today, Like a Dragon developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios announced via its official Twitter account that Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza In Hawaii will launch on February 21 with an English dub, just like the mainline titles. It was questionable whether it would launch with one, given that Like A Dragon Gaiden had an English dub patched in after launch, but that's not the case with this one.
Alongside this announcement, Ryu Ga Gotoku also shared the actors who are playing each character, with Matthew Mercer reprising his role as Majima after Infinite Wealth.
