Blizzard has shared a quick gameplay tour of the upcoming Patch 11.1, Undermine, set to take players to the much-anticipated underground city in the World of Warcraft universe. You can now get a sneak peek of new arena maps, curios, and bosses, along with other surprises in the goblin-inspired atmosphere.
The goblin city of Undermine is buried deep in the evolved Azeroth and remains uncharted throughout the game’s history. With the patch expected early next year, developers have shared a WOW Cast highlighting all the new items to expect.
Undermine Kicks off World of Warcraft Season 2
The gameplay revolves around allying with one of the major goblin cartels in the underworld city to win transmorgs, toys, and a new customizable ground mount designed for the Undermine universe.
The expanded city will also feature three new delves, an arena map dubbed “Cage of Carnage,” goblin-themed modifiers for the existing delves, and curios for Brann Bronzebeard. Patch 11.1 is the next bit of the War Within content that kicks off World of Warcraft season 2.
It will also feature some season two quests, Liberation of Undermine, and a new dungeon, Operation: Floodgate, in the Mythic pool.
