Final Fantasy Resonance recaptures the fantasy of classic RPGs in an adventure filled with crystals, friendships, and turn-based combat. While the HD-2D visuals impress during action sequences, a predictable narrative and some drawn-out battles hold the experience back.

Cleared Hot captures the essence of classic helicopter shooters, featuring physics-based flight, satisfying destruction, and the freedom to improvise on the battlefield. The free "Jungle Storm" update—a nod to *Jungle Strike*—expands the experience with a new campaign and additional combat options. While some mission repetition and artificial intelligence issues persist, the end result is a promising spiritual successor that honors nostalgia without relying on it entirely.

A competent port that preserves the scale of Motorfest but compromises the Switch 2's main advantage by requiring a constant internet connection.

Hellraiser: Revival understands the type of horror it needs to portray, but it fails to support that identity with gameplay and polish of a matching caliber. The Genesis Configuration and the Labyrinth contain the adventure’s best ideas, though inconsistent combat and technical issues make it difficult to recommend a purchase without reservations.

Just Dance: Decades of Hits offers a fun collection for bringing people together through music, but its limited selection and the formula's subtle evolution prevent this edition from standing out among the franchise's releases.

Deep Dish Dungeon won me over with its immersive atmosphere and the satisfaction of learning to navigate its ruins. The claustrophobic sound design, lighting, and interconnected architecture turn observation into part of the adventure, while cooking and crafting give purpose to preparing for each expedition. The limited inventory, the need to return to camp, and the absence of a map or compass demand patience, but I appreciate how these choices make knowing the layout just as valuable as the resources I gather. It is an adventure that is already compelling on its own, yet leaves me eager to return with others to discover what still lies in the darkness.

Silent Hill: Townfall finds its own identity by taking the psychological horror of the franchise to 1990s Scotland. Its atmospheric setting, first-person exploration, and investigative puzzles are its biggest strengths, while repetitive stealth, uneven combat, and a narrative that loses some momentum toward the end keep it from reaching its full potential.

An expansive but uneven collection that brings Kingdom Hearts’ long, convoluted journey to modern platforms in the most convenient package yet.

Dragon Quest XI S remains one of the generation's great JRPGs, and the Switch 2 offers the most technically comfortable way to traverse Erdrea, though the new edition is less compelling for those who already own the previous version.
