If you don't have a PS4, or simply are tired of what MLB The Show has to offer, I would suggest trying to play RBI Baseball 20 somehow before you buy it. If you decide to buy it on blind faith, I think you will find a fun game of baseball.

Rarely do I write something is a “must own” game, but I would put OOTP ’21 in that category for all baseball fans and all sports sim fans. Even

San Diego Studio could have easily mailed it in as the last title to drop before the new generation of hardware hits later this year. The fact is the developers did not, and I have found myself in love with their baseball franchise as much as I was over a decade ago. Whether you are into Diamond Dynasty, March to October, franchise mode, Retro mode, or simply "Play Now" games, MLB The Show 20 offers something excellent for almost every interest. This title is absolutely worthy of being in your rotation, and if you are anything like me, the struggle will be trying to play anything else.

It’s fun, immersive and best of all it’s a college football game in a market devoid of a real NCAA powerhouse. It won’t be the best football game you play this year, but it certainly won’t be the worst.

The most recent patch has to a small degree helped correct some of the issues in regards to errors and animations. Let's hope the developers continue to support the game and make it stronger as time goes on. I think it's fair to think they will considering how much post-release effort went into the original AO Tennis.

TSSCR certainly has its issues, but overall does an extremely solid job of conjuring up memories of past glory days spruced up with shiny new graphics.

Listen, Applimazing wasn't trying to plant Ultimate Racing 2D in the racing world lexicon, but what it was trying to accomplish, it did so on many levels.

Need For Speed Heat does a lot of things right, and delivers an aesthetically beautiful and fun experience. The only major issue is that experience will vary greatly in time depending on the individual. For those who love the series, this is an obvious game to add to the rotation. For those who are merely interested in seeing what's here, it might be wise to try the 10-hour trial available through EA Access before you jump in with both feet.

Lonely Mountains: Downhill is so incredibly close to being a masterpiece. The game feels like an incredibly refined mobile game that you find yourself playing for days, weeks and months on end, unapologetically getting sucked into its experience in search of finishing "just one more level today." It's a game you can pick up for 15 minutes or 15 hours and be satisfied either way. Aside from some wonky camera angles and dodgy steering mechanics at times, the game hits every mark. It's a winner in most every sense of the word.

No one can argue what type of player Doug Flutie was on the field. But his first attempt at a hall of fame football simulation came up a bit short. That's not to say the game couldn't compete with Madden and Axis down the line, but for now there are way too many issues to recommend this title to most audiences.

And then comes the realization that this dutiful throwback to wrestling arcade mashers past can only create a brief spark with its current offerings. Here's hoping they find a way to light an eternal flame.

If you have not bought the game yet, then my recommendation would be to wait it out. See what VC does as far as patches go, and see if they can fix the major issues. I would imagine the price of the game will drop soon, and you may be able to get it for a steal on Black Friday. By that time, I would think VC would have at least released a couple of major patches that would make the game more enjoyable to play.

The lack of character customization, equipment customization and additional settings leaves this title as more of a spare than a strike. I’m pleased with what PBA Pro Bowling has to offer, but I wish there was more here. That being said, if you’re desperate to get back on the digital lanes, pick yourself up a copy of PBA Pro Bowling.

Overall, Axis Football 2019 is a healthy alternative to EA's latest installment of Madden. And although it doesn't have enough glitz and glamour to compete with sports gaming's bigger brother, it does enough good to keep players interested. And while new football games appear every year trying to compete with what Madden is doing, Axis Football remains its own unique representation of the sport. You probably won't stop playing EA's latest installment in favor of its younger brother, but there's plenty to like about the expanded gameplay and updated franchise mode to keep users coming back again and again.

My overall experience with the game was positive. Once again, it is very simulation-oriented. If you are into fishing in real life, this game was made for you. If you enjoy fishing games but aren’t as hardcore as the guys on the water week to week, I think you will still like the game as well. But if you are looking for a simple fishing experience, this is not your game.
